Melissa Thayer, Lady in the Gingham Dress

Meet Melissa Thayer! Melissa is a scientist with the Outworld Scientific Association. She collects and analyzes plantlife on recently-colonized or soon-to-be-colonized worlds in the hopes that it can be utilized for food and assist ecological modification. Melissa is a bright and genial individual who loves her work, and her mode of dress, commonly employed by the womenfolk of her homeworld of Rilo Kiley, exemplifies this. She is not without a business ethic, however, and she likes to keep her mind on the job while working; she is greatly annoyed when someone tries to converse with her over trivial things while she is trying to make a difference.
